Christmas's Story...
Christmas is a friendly fellow that gets along with other cats. He is 1.5 years old. He is a gentle giant who loves attention and getting his chin rubbed. Even though he is still young, he isn’t very playful but he loves his scratching post. He is litter trained, but insists that it is kept clean, and does best with at least two deep litter boxes. He is very easy going and can lounge around the house for hours. Christmas can be very chatty when he wants attention or food. He is also a curious guy, and he may be found in unexpected places.

Christmas is available for adoption through Grand River All Breed rescue. The adoption donation is $165. All of our cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated as part of their adoption. Please fill out our Adoption Form if you are interested. You can also reach us by email at GrandRiverRescue@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Christmas, a Cambridge Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cambridge, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Cambridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cambridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cambridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cambridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
