Sandy's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with kids.

Sandy's Story...
Life has been unfair to Sandy. She is a sweet 2-3 yr old lab/shepherd mix, about 45lbs. Her owners got her off a Facebook yard-sale site for free, never got her spayed and let her get pregnant several times, each time giving her puppies away at only 4 weeks old while she watched from the car window. The last time she gave birth, our rescue contacted the owner and forced them to give her AND puppies to our rescue.

So finally, Sandy is on track to have a happily ever after. She is fully vetted (spayed, finally) and looking for a Christmas miracle. Sandy wants a warm, happy home, to get fed on a daily basis, and to be loved as a member of a family (3 things she's never had before). Sandy gets along with most dogs, although does best with males and non-dominant females.

Will you give Sandy a chance, and grant her Christmas Wish?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sandy, a Sturbridge Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Sturbridge, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Sturbridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sturbridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sturbridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sturbridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
