Clara's Story...
Clara.
Golden Eyed White Persian.
Born 11-21-2014

Clara, one of nine Persians surrendered due to allergies in the home, is a delightful, dainty little princess. She is quite confident once she's had time to settle into a new environment. She is fine around other cats but tends to hiss at them if they get too close.

She has very silky fur that should stay tangle free with regular combing. There's not much more to say yet about this precious little bundle except that she's super easy going.

When she came to her foster home, her foster mom noticed that she didn’t respond to sounds. A trip to the vet confirmed that this little cutie is deaf. However, kitties are able to compensate for any shortcomings by honing their other instincts and Clara is no exception

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clara, a Davis Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Davis, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
