My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cooper! This adorable, 5 year old, oversized (22lbs) Pekingese found himself sitting in a shelter after his owner was unable to care for him any longer. Cooper had a severe infection in his right eye forcing the shelter to have to remove it. He did have a beautiful long white coat but due to being overly matted and dirty he was shaved down. Cooper is full of energy and would love an active family with older children (teenagers and above). He will not do well in a home with small children. Cooper will need a home that will make sure he gets his regular trips to the groomer to ensure his coat is well maintained. Help us get this little guy back into a home where he belongs.
