Paulie's Story...
Hi there!!! My name is Paulie and I am a 4-year-old male, brindle Boxer. As you can see from picture below taken in early December 2016, I suffered from extreme neglect in the home I was taken from.

The good news is that I am in foster care getting lots of LOVE and FOOD! I have two foster dog siblings: a 5-year-old female White Boxer and an 11-year-old male Brindle Boxer. It took a bit of time, but we now get along great!

There are also two cats in the foster home that I don't care for, and they are hoping I get adopted soon!!! :-)

I have completed a 2-week formal positive reinforcement training course, and continue to participate in a weekly obedience class.

I am extremely obedient, sweet as pie, and very calm for a Boxer.......or that's what all the humans say!!!

My health is great now, except that I am missing opposing canines on both sides of my mouth making it necessary to eat softened food/kibble.

I adore children and am good with people!
I am NOT a barker or a digger or a chewer or a fence jumper!!
I am crate-trained, but also love sleeping on the couch and in front of the fire!
I am very tolerant of being bathed, having my nails trimmed, and visiting the vet!
I love riding in the car!
I walk like a dream on a leash!

I would thrive in a home where someone was home most of the day, and would commit to my daily walk and continuation with my obedience training at home!!!

Call Ho-Bo and submit your application for me today!!!! I will be your BFF, I promise, and you will wonder how you ever managed without me!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paulie, a Denver Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Denver, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
