My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

New super sweet senior dachshund waiting for his special forever home to discover him. Rowdy is simply an old, gentle soul. Another one of those mysteries of how such a charming, well behaved, perfectly house trained senior dachshund could end up in not one, but two shelters plus two adoptive homes that could not give him the time to come out of his shell. Thank goodness CCDR/Colorado was called! Rowdy is about 10-12 years old, 14 lb. longhaired black and tan dachshund. So friendly to nice children, men, women, other dogs, cats(?). Really enjoys going for walks and car rides. Rowdy's ideal forever home will have an active retired person with few stairs in the home.

Rowdy is in good health, fully vetted. His adoption fee is $150.00. An adoption application must be completed/submitted prior to scheduling any meets with this sweetheart. This can be done online at c2cdr.org.
