My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Millie's foster mom and I'm speaking for the little lady because she's a bit shy. Millie came to my house recently a scared little 12 year old, underweight thing that had been found running with a large gunshot wound on her back end. Obviously we don't know her story but she has most definitely had a rough 12 years so far. She has received a ton of TLC the past few weeks and is truly a lover! Her wound has healed, she has gone through all her shots, microchip and spay and had a cyst/mass removed from her neck. Through everything, she is one of the happiest dogs I've ever met. She has come to know the joys of pillows and blankets, is warming up to the idea of playing with toys and is becoming the cutest most awkward cuddler ever. I believe she does not have a mean bone in her body! She has been awesome at house training and even does well in her crate while I'm away. She has been put on a preventative blood pressure medication that is very inexpensive because she has borderline elevated blood pressure. She is a true beagle and chow hound at heart. A slow feeder bowl to slow her down a little works wonders. It's hard to believe she had to have 13 teeth removed! She lives with two fur foster siblings and a cat, and she gets along great with them all.
Miss Millie deserves to live out her years in a loving home, willing to spoil her and show her that people aren't all bad. Do you have a place in your home for a little old lady? I know she already has the biggest place in my heart.
