My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! I'm Peppermint. I'm a 2-year-old female Pit Bull mix. I weigh around 65 pounds. I'm spayed microchipped and up to date on all of my vaccines , I'm ready to go Just say the word ill pack up my treats and head over!

Some of my best attributes are my friendly and outgoing personality, my happy-go-lucky demeanor and my stunning good looks. My human and canine friends all agree that I'm a super sweet pup.

Why am I in need of a home, you ask? Well, here's my story. I was roaming the streets of South LA, having just had puppies and still lactating, when I was picked up and brought to the pound. I don't even know what happened to my babies. I just knew I was all alone in the big scary shelter, confused and unsure of what my future held. After a few days of waiting, the friendly folks at CageFree took notice of me and decided get me out of the shelter and work on finding me a new home. So they took me on a car ride to their facility, where I'm currently staying.

I'm still a young dog with a zest for life, so I'm looking for an active family that will take me with them on their adventures and allow me to explore the world! I'd love to go on walks and hikes, make new friends at the dog park, and maybe even play some fetch.
