Spike's Story...
Spike lost his home recently because is mom was going into a assisted living facility where she could not take him. We have promised to find him a home where he will be loved forever just like she loved him. He is 8 years old and a real sweet heart. He loves dogs and cats. He is a little over weight but his foster mom is working on helping him shed a few pounds. Spike is house and crate trained and looking for his new forever family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spike, a New Smyrna Beach Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in New Smyrna Beach, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in New Smyrna Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Smyrna Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Smyrna Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Smyrna Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
