My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking for a dog that is strong, smart, happy, playful, energetic, but relaxed at the same time? Look no further! Meet Simba! Simba is a soft coated, 5-year-old, 77 lbs, male, Labrador Retriever mix, that is heartworm negative. On top of that, Simba is potty trained! Simba knows sit and walks exceptionally well on a leash. Simba is very social when it comes to other bigger dogs, but does not enjoy the presence of cats.
Simba certainly knows how to chill, but he also loves playtime. Simba prefers running alongside a human, rather than chasing after a ball. Because of this, Simba would do best in a home with a backyard and a large fence. However, since Simba is so relaxed when he needs to be, he would fit perfectly fine in an apartment where the owner walks him.
Did we mention he is smart? Simba is a very fast learner, especially when treats are involved. He even knows how to open up door knobs! He is always attentive and focused on whatever catches his eye, but will respond quickly once his companion calls for him.
Simba is the perfect blend between chill and energetic. He will sit on a couch all day next you, then go for a jog when it’s time to exercise. He will instantly be the center of attention in both a family or an individual owner environment. Simba cannot wait to meet you and make you as happy as he is all of the time!
