Kay (12 lb) Sweetest Girl Ever's Story...
Hi! I'm Kay! I was surrendered to a high kill shelter along with my newborn babies. We are safe and now I'm looking for my true forever home! Yes, I'm a little cutie and the sweetest girl you'll ever meet! I'm approx. 1-2 years old and approx. 12 pounds(12/16). I'm extremely sweet, loving, friendly and a little playful. I'm well socialized and have never met a stranger! You'll see how wonderful and adorable I am in my video. I'm great with kids, cats and other dogs. I'm highly intelligent and mind well, inside and out. I'm house trained. I'm a true lap baby! I really enjoy being petted and loved on! The more attention and love I get, the better! I love to sleep snuggled up next to someone. I have a gentle, loving and submissive temperament. I only bark when the other foster dogs bark and I have a low to medium energy level. If you're looking for a sweet, loving and adorable lap baby, then look no further! I'm ready to learn new things and finally live the good life I so richly deserve! I'd love to be an exciting addition to your wonderful life! I'll provide the unconditional love and you can provide the safe and loving forever home!
*I have a little place on my right eye that is going to be removed soon. It will require no further care after it's gone. I'll be even more beautiful than I am now!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kay (12 lb) Sweetest Girl Ever, a Burlington Dachshund/Border Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Border Terrier for sale in Burlington, or seeking a Dachshund/Border Terrier dog from a breeder in Burlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Border Terrier breeders who help with Dachshund/Border Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
