Sebastian was brought to the shelter's night-box as a stray. He struggled in the shelter's loud and over stimulated kennel wards. He was very difficult to retrieve from his kennel for walks and evaluations. However, once the staff got him in a quiet area, he became friendly and engaging, which wasn't quite good enough to be pulled by other rescue groups or be placed in the adoption ward.

So Nobody's Perfekt Dogs took a chance on him and pulled him into foster care. As we suspected, within 15 minutes of being away from the shelter, Sebastian's true nature emerged. He is a very sweet, friendly, playful dog. He loves attention, and playing with toys. He did well for his vet check (which they were unable to do at the shelter), and he especially LOVES KIDS.

He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home and seems to be okay with cats.

Pekingese dogs were bred to be "constant companions" which can translate to neediness and possible separation anxiety issues. Sebastian may fall into that category, if the owners are not careful in doling out attention. Warning, he is a licker!
