Inky's Story...
**PLEASE READ TO THE END FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION.**

Leche and Inky are foster siblings. They have become very attached. They are both around 6 years old. Leche weighs approximately 5.5 lbs and Inky about 6.5 lbs. They are both sweet, and fun and love each other very much. Although they do not HAVE to get adopted out together, these two think it would sure be swell if they did. Leche is the little white boy, and Inky is the black girl. They came in separately and from different situations. However, they are fostered together and have learned to lean on each other in this new world. If they are adopted together, their fees will be discounted.

If you would like to adopt Inky, please fill out an application at www.TexasChihuahuaRescue.com. Her adoption fee, including vetting paperwork, microchip registration to adopter, collar & harness, is $200. If she and Leche are adopted together, their combined fee is $300.

Texas Chihuahua Rescue is based in San Antonio, Texas. All of our adoptable dogs are located in the San Antonio area. Additional photos and videos will be made available to potential adopters upon approval of our online adoption application. Transport arrangements will be made upon application approval and completion of the adoption agreement.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Inky, a Houston Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Houston, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
