Imagine the heartbreak and confusion that poor Matus felt at being uprooted from the only home that he had ever known and brought to an unfamiliar place? Matus is about 4 years old, and this big and beautiful mixed breed came to us when his family had to turn him in due to landlord issues. Matus is obviously missing home, but is not letting it get him down. He's looking on the bright side, making friends every day, and hoping to be discovered soon by a wonderful new family. Matus is such an easy going and sweet guy. He's very friendly and outgoing, and he'll be leaning on you, looking for attention, within minutes of meeting you. He's a real gentleman with excellent manners that loves people, but he doesn't get all up in your face about it. He's easily handled for vet visits and is happy to sit and behave politely when asked. He's playful and spunky, but not overly exuberant. Matus doesn't seem to mind other dogs and loves people of all ages. He would be a spectacular addition to any good family that is looking to add a loving and loyal member to their household. File#26906 10/30/16
