Sacramento- Meet Morris. Morris is a 2 year old chihuahua mix. He is about 15 lbs and has the most gorgeous gold eyes. He is sweet and loving. He enjoys lounging in the sun and getting tummy rubs. He loves cuddling up on the couch while foster mom is working on the computer. Morris lives with children (including a 2 year old), a cat, and several dogs and does great. He runs and jumps into his crate for treats and enjoys sleeping in his crate, although he much prefers cuddling in someone's bed. Morris knows sit and is learning place and down. He is housetrained and runs to the door to let you know he needs to go outside.  Morris is available for adoption now. He is neutered, up to date with vaccinations, and microchipped. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Morris, a Sacramento Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
