Snow is a very sweet 5 yr old male miniature poodle. He was rescued from a California shelter who came in as a stray, and his time was up! He still has bad dreams and will growl in his sleep. He loves to play with toys and we always make sure we tell him drop it before we take the toy. He wants to dominate other animals but Moe the cat ignores him and Molly the dog only cares if she thinks he is getting more attention. Snow is almost completely deaf so you will need to approach him carefully as to not startle him because he may snap at you out of fear. He loves loves loves his walks. He will greet you everyday with kisses. Travels well in his crate. Likes to sleep on a big pillow. Will do time outs in his crate if he did something naughty. Snow is all about trust. Whether it is his parents, the vet, the groomer. Something happened in his past around his back side because of someone touches back there he gets snappy real fast. Snow should only go to a home with a vast amount of experience and no kids.

Notes from Snow's foster mom: He is doing great. He has not snapped at us or tried to bite. He will bark every once in awhile if he wants Molly's food. He has met other dogs on his walks but has ignored them. I think he would do ok with older kids and as an only pet. He still does not come if you try to call him but get his attention and he comes running. He also loves his toys. If he does become possessive we tell him no firmly and he seems to understand He will do great for anyone who wants to train him and is patient

Like most dogs in our rescue, Snow will need work on potty training.

Snow has an adoption fee of $450

**IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ**

An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well.

As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves.

Our number one focus is finding these little loves a wonderful forever home with a family who is going to care for them and show them what it is like to be loved, a safe environment, a full belly and a warm bed. These sweet babies do not ask for much from you but they may require a little patience and understanding.

WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog We will contact you once we have received and reviewed your completed application. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet can be scheduled. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
