Guiney's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Guiney's Story...
Guiney is a small sweet ball of fur that has survived a lot in her life. She has lost the tips of her ears from frostbite and has needed some dental and medical care but is doing fine now.

She has a true love of people and comes running when she sees you. Guiney loves a good lap and purrs and kneads when she is getting petted. She will also give you a nose kiss now and then to make sure you know she loves you. She also likes a quiet spot in the sun in which to nap. She would prefer a quiet home.

Guiney is about 10 years old and qualifies for our Senior for Senior program. She will make someone a great loving companion.

All adoptable pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about adoption, please contact Camp Companion at 507-951-7801, www.campcompanion.org, or find us on Facebook!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Guiney, a Rochester Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
