Meet Charlie! The most adorable, loving little pup you'd ever hope to meet! AND he's super smart! Even though Charlie is blind he's well on his way to being house trained. He even goes up to the door to let his foster know he's gotta go. Charlie doesn't know he's blind! He's like any other active puppy. He's filled with puppy kisses and a waggy tail. He's such a happy little guy. He walks on a leash, plays with his foster canine siblings, loves his toys. He knows how to sit and shake hands and we are working on the "down" command and roll over. He's really an amazing pup! Charlie will make a fantastic companion for another dog as well, particularly a younger dog who needs a playmate.

TEXAS ANIMAL GUARDIANS is a foster-based rescue group with foster homes in New Braunfels, Wimberley, Cibolo, San Antonio and Austin, Texas areas. We pull at risk puppies and dogs from high-kill shelters, bring them into foster care, provide them with medical care, good nutrition and lots of love. We strive to give you as much information about your puppy's personality as possible. Our pups live in a foster home so they are well socialized with people and other pets.

We use the application to adopt as a screening tool to protect our foster families. You can access this by cutting an pasting this URL into your browser window: http://www.texasanimalguardians.org/guardians-online-forms/dog-adoption-application-form/

About Texas Animal Guardians

About Our Rescue Group...

Texas Animal Guardians Bringing People and Pets Together! We're an all-volunteer foster-based organization geared to reducing the suffering and certain death of shelter animals. We remove "at risk" dogs, puppies, cats and kittens from over-crowded shelters, take responsibility for their medical care, provide foster homes and adopt them out to responsible, loving pet parents.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a facility. However, we make arrangements for potential adopters to meet their future pets at the home of the foster parents. We also have regular adoption days at the Creekside Petsmart in New Braunfels, Texas (315 Creekside Way). We are there on the FIRST & THIRD Saturday of the month from 1-4 PM. If you are interested in meeting one of our available pets please call the foster of the pet you are inquiring about or email us at TAGAdoptionsTeam@gmail.com so that we can help you make arrangements to see the pet you'd like to meet.

Our Adoption Process...

We ask that you fill out our adoption application, then one of our volunteers will contact you and arrange for you to meet the adoptable pet. Adoption fees range in price and include their spay/neuter, age required vaccinations, microchip (and transfer), for puppies over the age of 8 months and adult dogs this includes a heartworm test. Cats/kittens range between $80 to $150; Dogs/puppies $80 to $250.
