LIZA ~ A precious little Chiweenie looking for her forever home. She is around 6 months old and 7.5 lbs. She came to DRLA from a shelter as a scared, neglected little girl with some scarring on her face and ears. She has come around and is learning to trust people after a scary and sad beginning to her little life that we will never know the true story of. We promised her that the old life is behind her.
She loves playing and snuggling with her foster brothers and sisters. She has learned the doggy door and progressing well with potty training. I think she was probably a backyard puppy that didn't get a lot of attention. She really loves other dogs so having a brother or sister would be best for her.
Come meet her at an upcoming adoption event. She is shy but we're confident you will see what we see and what makes her so special. She is ready to find her forever home and will love you if you just give her the chance.
Foster mom Cheryl says if you are interested in meeting g or adopting her please complete an adoption application and schedule your home safety check so you are pre-approved. You can also come meet her in BURBANK if that's convenient.
