Felicia's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Felicia's Story...
Felicia is still in New Orleans with our rescue but can be easily transported up to the Northeast using Rescue Road Trips.

Felicia came to us from the St. Landry Parish shelter after having been hit by a car. Not only did she need to have surgery to repair her diaphragm, her femur was broken in 3 places and needed to be repaired. Our orthopedic surgeon did a great job with "putting her back together."

She is super sweet, vaccinated, spayed, microchipped and heartworm negative. She is housebroken and ready to go to her forever home. She is fine with other dogs and can be tested with cats.

Felicia's adoption fee is $300 and the fee to transport to Lisbon, CT is $185.. We require that our dogs live indoors and prefer, but don't require, a securely fenced yard. We do home visits and check vet references prior to an adoption. Please email QueenB534@aol.com for more information and to request an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Felicia, a Boston Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Boston, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
