Barley's Story...
Hi! My name is Barley. I am a 6 year old female lab/Weimaraner mix. I am a loving, high energy pup. I am a lap dog so please don't let my size lead you to believe otherwise. I enjoy spending time in my kennel as you will find me in there often with my cozy blankets. I am also potty trained. I love being outside especially on a sunny day. (The sun is my favorite!) I love pools and lakes but won't step foot in a bathroom for fear of bath time. I love kids but a little older may be best as I do not know my own strength when I get excited. I would love to be your only dog as I want all of your attention for myself. I am especially not a fan of smaller dogs. I am territorial so I do not like other dogs in my space. When on walks I tend to get aggressive when seeing other dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Barley, a Las Vegas Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner dog from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
