My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Banjo (HWTH#16448A). He is a Pit mix, DOB: 8/21/16. Banjo weighs approximately 35 pounds and stands 17 inches at the shoulders with more growing to do (he will be a medium-size dog when mature). This is a very loving (likes to give small kisses), high-energy boy who loves to play. He will need a loving, active owner willing to give Banjo the affection and attention he craves, good-quality human companionship, playtime, daily exercise and training needed to bring Banjo to his full potential. Currently Banjo is residing with a volunteer with Halfway to Home and 14 other dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds with no problems. He is constantly playing with the younger dogs at the foster home so it probably would be a good thing if he had a compatible canine companion in his new Forever home to help him expend his energy. When Banjo is thoroughly settled in his new home, he will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with leash training and the bonding process. Once Banjo has bonded with his new owner, he will be an amazingly loyal canine companion. Banjo knows how to use a dog door but still needs to be house trained. He will also need to have a variety of chew toys so he has an outlet for puppy chewing. For more information on Banjo, please contact Suzanne at tele # 661-824-4495.
