Wendy is good temperament pup! She is one of the best pup you will meet! She is a sweet, friendly, happy, and a well-behaved pup! Wendy is good with people and is very safe and gentle with young children as she is now in a foster home with a 9 years old boy. Wendy is great with dogs of all sizes as she is now in a foster home with many big and small dogs. She is a very good temperament pup and will do well in any loving home. She is house-trained and crate-trained. Wendy started leash training and is one smart girl and learns everything at an amazing pace.

Wendy and her sister, Winnie, did not have a good start in life. They were found in a remote bus station. They were starving and shaking in the cold winter. A kind bus driver gave them some food and they waited for him at the same spot. He posted their story on Facebook and called several rescue groups. Weeks went by and no one had called for them. He was getting very discouraged and felt helpless. Through the vet’s referral, they found Wendy’s now foster mom. They made a call and Wendy’s now foster mom knew it was urgent to save them. Her home is full of rescued dogs waiting for homes but she didn’t have the heart to turn her back on them. She brought the pups back to her home filled with love and proper care. They were fully checked by the vet and are very healthy pups!

Wendy has been vaccinated, spayed, de-wormed, and passed negative on her blood tests. She is ready for a forever home. Please give Wendy a loving home and a chance to grow up safe and happy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wendy, a Castro Valley Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
