BOGART's Info...

BOGART's Story...

RESCUED by a 'Good Sam',  along with his sister(adopted) and their mother(hit by car),  on a rural farming road in Rutherford County, NC.

m, YellowLab/ShepherdX, weighs 18lbs @ 3mos on 12/12/16...will most likely be a LRG dog(~60>65lbs) as an adult.

Bogart is a lovely little snuggle(soft, medium-length coat), gets along well with other dogs, kids and cats. He  is  your typical energetic puppy so will require(and totally ENJOYS) a good daily exercise regime. Would make an EXCELLENT companion for a devoted runner/hiker. And, crate-trained!

Obedience training is strongly suggested, as we recommend for ALL of our rescued pups....be they young or adults. It benefits both the owner and their new pet, to be able to acquire the maximum relationship/bond. Pets need a safe, loving place to lay their heads, with a kind, gentle leader. NOT a dictator!

Adoption fee: $295(includes neuter, micro-chip, Parvo-Distemper/Lepto, Bordatella and 1 yr Rabies vaccinations, parasite- free, current on monthly heart worm and flea/tick prevention, Martingale collar and leash, and current health certificate -issued within 3 days prior to transport, nd beef knee cap bone.

Where there is a scent hound or guardian breed being considered for adoption, & in homes where children reside or will be visiting, a secured(not electric) fenced-in yard is required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BOGART, a Oswego Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Oswego, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Oswego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oswego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oswego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oswego paves the way for another one to be saved.
