My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Danika and I’m a Norwegian Elkhound-mix. Take a look at my breed; my ancestors hung out with Vikings! Cool, huh?

I love belly rubs! I’m very affectionate and love my pack leader.

I know some basic commands, although, I will benefit from additional training. I’m respectful of my foster parent’s home and furniture. I currently live with a cat. I want to be her BFF, but she’s not on board. In time, she’ll love me because I am so awesome. My foster mom thinks I’m a ball of love.

I'm 35 pounds and have a heart-shaped mark on my back. Can you see it in my pictures?

I do well in my crate. I complain when I’m first put in, but I settle down quickly. I would really like to be adopted by someone who can take me for a morning and afternoon walk as I’m very athletic. And someone to take me places as I adore car rides!
