Cecelia's Story...
Meet Cecelia (Cess for short!) She was found on the streets of Hayward with what we thought were foxtails in all of her paws. Her poor paws were swollen to three times their natural size. Red and raw, she licked them incessantly. Still, in all of that pain, she ran up to her finders with tail wagging and a tongue ready to bathe them in kisses. She must have known that she had found the right people. Her finders saw immediately that she was something special and held on to her in hopes of saving her. They sent us an email and we rushed in to help, seeing how special Cecelia was. It turns out that her paws were not full of foxtails but rather each paw had small infections that were allowed to go out of control. Easily treatable with medication, we knew there was no way to say no to that adorable mug of hers! Despite her obvious neglect, she is one of the sweetest, wiggliest dogs we've ever met. She has never demonstrated anything but amazing manners and is learning more and more basic commands everyday. She really is an amazing dog with an amazing story.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
