Saint Nicholas 'Nick''s Story...
My name is Nick and I came to Pitties and Purrs from a local shelter. I am a very active dog and can sit for treats. I love to play with other pups too. As you can see I am a lovely tricolor and I am short and squat, just a cute little package! I am great with other dogs, crate trained and know basic commands.

You must be over 21 and a home owner to adopt me. Please visit www.pittiesandpurrs.org to fill out an application. For further information contact adoptpitties@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Saint Nicholas 'Nick', a Baltimore Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Baltimore, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Baltimore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baltimore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baltimore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baltimore paves the way for another one to be saved.
