My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET BENTLEY !!

This giant 8 month old baby is already close to 100 lbs !! Bentley is a pure bred German Shepherd. Bentley was relinquished/surrendered to our rescue because they said he was "too much puppy for them"
When we probed further we found out they bought Bentley for their elderly parents as a gift when he was 8 weeks old. Their parents kept Bentley outside in a very small yard and never really made him a pet or indoor dog. So it would be no surprise he would be "too much" for anyone. The best thing they ever did for him was to give him up.
Bentley is a very sweet, slightly shy puppy. He is calm and respectful of people. He takes a few minutes to warm up because of his lack of socialization. But doesn't have a bad bone in his body.
Since being with us he has been completely crate trained. Child tested and can be placed in an experience home with children that are a bit older as he is so big and clumsy he could knock them over. He is learning to be social with other dogs. Big and small. Male and female and doing very well considering they are the first dogs he's ever met. He is shy around the more active dogs and better with the more quiet mellow dogs and his confidence builds daily. He is not dog aggressive at all. We have cat tested him. He listens well and can be placed with dog savvy cats but is a puppy and wants to chance them. He is starting to settle down nicely in the house.
Bentley is now neutered, up to date on all vaccines including rabies and microchipped.
Bentley would do best with another large breed female Shepherd or like breed.
Please have Shepherd, Husky and or bully breed experience before inquiring about Bentley.
Please tell us a little about yourself, family, kids and or other dogs or cats in the house, your lifestyle and activity level.
Thank you for looking to adopt.

Please do NOT e-mail us your phone number, you will NOT be called. Questions and inquires are answered via e-mail only.
Please read everything below, most of your questions may be answered in our description.
All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, dewormed, licensed, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Also included is a free health check by our licensed veterinarian. The dogs that come out of our program are very well socialized when they leave, both with people, and other dogs. It is up to the new owners to maintain this. All of our dogs, young and old are crate trained. This gives the new owner a head start for house breaking, and to curb any separation anxiety and or destructive behavior. Most of our dogs are in foster homes and we are able to tell you lots about each of their personalities. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An adoption fee, application, and contract are required. Please direct all questions to smashfacerescue911@yahoo. All our dogs can be seen 7 days a week by appointment ONLY. We are located in Van Nuys 91405. If you are interested in setting up a day and time please send us an e-mail.

Thank you in advance,

The Bully Connection
