My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Arrow and I'm here at FDR looking for my "Fureverhome". I was born on March 29, 2016, and I will be 9 months old very soon! I'm a male, black/rust, neutered, natural eared and docked tail, AKC Doberman Pinscher (we have his documentation,

Arrow has not been registered by a previous owner). Arrow has received his Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, Lyme and Leptospirosis vaccines, has received a Home Again microchip, a 4 DX "Snap" panel (checking for Heartworm Disease/Lyme Disease/Ehrlichiosis/Anaplasmosis), a Von Willebrands, and fecal tests all completed with negative results, had a pre-neuter blood panel, and has continued his monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. Arrow was also treated for a mild case of demodex upon arrival. He is being fostered in Bath, PA.

Arrow is crate trained, potty trained and knows his sit and down, he is currently working on leash training, counter surfing, his stay and other basic commands. He is an active boy, very smart and needs an active home with a fenced in yard and one who is going to follow through with more than just basic training in a classroom setting, this young gent is a great agility candidate and needs a family who will expand his horizons and give him lots of activity, we are asking children in the home to be at least 10 years of age. Arrow has been around a few other dogs, he can be a bit of a hyper and sometimes mouthy player with other dogs, on the alpha side of temperament, however he is redirectable and will need a home to continue to socialize him with other dogs (Arrow has not been cat tested). If you are interested in opening your heart and your home to adopt Arrow, please PM us here with your email address and request for an adoption application, or you may also email us at adoption@FureverhomesDobermanRescue.org and our adoption application is available to download by going to http://fureverhomesdobermanrescue.org/assets/Adoption_Application30583.pdf. If you would like to help, pledges for veterinary services may be made to our PayPal account at https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=ZYE3P3KXJQ4TA, veterinary care is not free and we provide each and every dog with a good overall package along with a new Lupine martingale collar, walking harness, leash, a Nylabone and a toy as a part of our "Paw it Forward" program. Arrow's adoption fee is $400.
