My name is Arrow and I'm here at FDR looking for my "Fureverhome". I was born on March 29, 2016, and I will be 9 months old very soon! I'm a male, black/rust, neutered, natural eared and docked tail, AKC Doberman Pinscher (we have his documentation,

Arrow has not been registered by a previous owner). Arrow has received his Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, Lyme and Leptospirosis vaccines, has received a Home Again microchip, a 4 DX "Snap" panel (checking for Heartworm Disease/Lyme Disease/Ehrlichiosis/Anaplasmosis), a Von Willebrands, and fecal tests all completed with negative results, had a pre-neuter blood panel, and has continued his monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. Arrow was also treated for a mild case of demodex upon arrival. He is being fostered in Bath, PA.

Arrow is crate trained, potty trained and knows his sit and down, he is currently working on leash training, counter surfing, his stay and other basic commands. He is an active boy, very smart and needs an active home with a fenced in yard and one who is going to follow through with more than just basic training in a classroom setting, this young gent is a great agility candidate and needs a family who will expand his horizons and give him lots of activity, we are asking children in the home to be at least 10 years of age. Arrow has been around a few other dogs, he can be a bit of a hyper and sometimes mouthy player with other dogs, on the alpha side of temperament, however he is redirectable and will need a home to continue to socialize him with other dogs (Arrow has not been cat tested). If you are interested in opening your heart and your home to adopt Arrow, please PM us here with your email address and request for an adoption application, or you may also email us at and our adoption application is available to download by going to If you would like to help, pledges for veterinary services may be made to our PayPal account at, veterinary care is not free and we provide each and every dog with a good overall package along with a new Lupine martingale collar, walking harness, leash, a Nylabone and a toy as a part of our "Paw it Forward" program. Arrow's adoption fee is $400.

About Fureverhomes Doberman Rescue, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

After having Dobermans most of our entire adult life, cross posting to help those in need find rescue, volunteering for rescue and long discussions between my husband and myself, we decided to take the leap and follow our hearts. Dobermans are our children, as we have none of the human variety. We have seen so much over the last few years, especially now with the assistance of Facebook and other social media sites and the internet, and the sharing of Dobermans in need of rescue, fostering, and adoption, the many wonderful groups and organizations that work so hard to help the one thing nearest and dearest to all of our hearts, the DOBERMAN PINSCHER. We do this as a labor of love, our way to give back to the breed who has given us so very much and enriched our Doberman at a time.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption process consists of an adoption application, we do verify employment, call for a history of care at your veterinarian, and speak with your two personal references provided. Once that checklist is complete a home visit is scheduled, then a determination is made and we will speak with you regarding the Dobermans in our program and those coming to help you find a match for your environment and lifestyle. We ask every potential adopter to complete a two or four-week In-Home Trial period depending on the temperament of the dog, and we assist our families with acclimating their new addition into their home, offer training advice and more during the trial period. Once complete we verify both humans and Doberman are happy, not stressed and at this time finalize the adoption contract. FDR, Inc. does require each adopter to complete a minimum of one certificate group obedience class at a reputable, positive reinforcement trainer, we will assist you with finding one if you don't already have one.
