Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet little Coal came to us from a pound in Georgia. His owner dumped him because he wouldn't hunt anymore. Getting dumped turned out to be a good thing; he was not treated well by his former owner, and he had a hernia and several rotten teeth. He is now neutered, the hernia repaired, the rotten teeth pulled and the rest cleaned. He's UTD on shots and tested negative for heartworms and Lyme disease. Coal is a smaller beagle, short in the body, short in the legs and weighing under 25 lbs. He's approx 9 years old but has the energy of a younger dog. He is in a foster home and gets along wonderfully with other the dogs there. He loves to cuddle with other dogs and he's learning to cuddle with his foster mom. Coal is very interested in the cats that are in another room and might chase a cat if it ran, but when he encounters one face-to-face he's fine. Coal is an adorable and submissive little beagle who deserves a loving home of his own (and a new name). He is pretty much housetrained--he does well if he's kept on a schedule.
