My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This precious little pup was owner surrendered to our rescue as his owner worked all day and had no time for him. He is approx 8 months old and 14 lbs as of 12/16. He will probably get to approx 20 lbs when fully grown. He looks like he has some yorkie in him. He loves attention and will need some TLC to make him feel safe in a new home. He gets along great with other dogs and loves to run and play. He will need some house and leash/harness training and would be very happy going to daycare or to a dog park to play. He will need a companion, so that there is a buddy to play with. We prefer a home with children over 10 years of age.

The total adoption donation of $475 and includes the required interstate health certificate and transport , spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration. The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. We also provide a coupon for a free wellness visit to the South Wilton Vet group if convenient for you. Some of our dogs are still in Texas in foster care. Our application is online at http://houstonshaggydogrescue.org/application-process/
