He just loves to be touched, pet, loved on and snuggled with.
Poor Blade is so full of fear, he is just learning to walk on leash. He doesn’t like things on his neck, so he wears a harness. Sometimes he needs to be picked up and carried. He loves people, but children would be a little too much for him. Adults and gentle teenagers are more his speed.
Blade wasn’t socialized with other dogs, so he is best as the one and only dog in the home.
Blade is now healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped and heartworm-free. He came into rescue with heartworm disease and needed entropion sugery for his eyes.
He is currently at the Pei Land Rescue in Plano, Illinois. His adoption fee of $300 benefits rescues pets.
