Moana's Story...
Moana is a darling young adult female. She is medium in size with very silky fur and big green eyes. She has some ulcers on her eyes which are healing - presumed to be from some type of injury. Moana enjoys jumping on people's laps, weaving around legs, and being carried on your shoulder. She purrs frequently and makes cute little crooning noises when she is in her exploring mood. She gets along with other cats. Moana is an easy cat to care for so would fit onto almost any type of living arrangement. she requires some loves, some food, a nice lap, a window to look out....and she is content. It is unknown if she has ever been exposed to dogs. Moana has been spayed, is up to date on her shots, tested negative for FeLV and FIV and has been microchipped. An application, safety home check, landlord approval if renting, and an adoption fee of $80 is required. Indoor-only home is also required. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moana, a Eureka Calico cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Calico for sale in Eureka, or seeking a Calico cat from a breeder in Eureka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eureka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eureka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Calico breeders who help with Calico rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eureka paves the way for another one to be saved.
