My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**In Foster-to-adopt Home**

Maggie is a Domestic Short Hair (DSH), female, 2 years of age.

Maggie is a true blue people lover with a happy, easy-going demeanor. She's not at all shy about seeking affection and absolutely loves to be pet and brushed. Having an independent side as well, she is perfectly content to sit on a tall perch and watch the goings on around her.

Gently playful and highly curious, Maggie has a soft spot for playtime, especially if they involve finding treats. Leisurely games of chasing strings or fluff balls are some of her favorite activities and she will surely not turn down the chance to rev up her purr motor for some extra loving.

Maggie is best suited as an indoor pet and companion for a home with a low to moderately-active lifestyle.

As with all Monroe SPCA adoptable cats, a home visit will be required prior to adoption.

Maggie currently resides at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Resale Store/The Fur Factory. You can meet her Tuesday – Friday, 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Saturday 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm, or by appointment; closed Sunday, Monday, and National Holidays.

All Monroe SPCA cats available for adoption have an adoption fee of $75.00. This fee includes the cat being spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and micro-chipped prior to adoption.
