This super beauty is Aubrey! She is a 3 year old German Shepherd that came into rescue extremely emaciated. She has since gained back all of the weight she needed to (her foster mom takes great care of her!). She also came into rescue Heartworm positive, but has received her treatment. She now needs to be given her Heartworm prevention monthly (just like any other dog). Aubrey is crate trained & housebroken. She is very sweet, but would we believe she would do best being the only dog in the house. She absolutely needs a fenced in backyard that is secure & she needs an adopter who is very familiar with this breed. She would be best placed in a home without children. When she first came to her foster home she showed a bit of separation anxiety, but her foster worked with her though this. However, in a new environment an adopter might experience this so will need to have some patience with her. She’s such a beauty and will be so worth it! She is in a foster home in NC but can be transported to an approved adopter in MD or NJ. She is spayed and up to date on her shots.
