Lex's Story...
This gorgeous young man is Lex, a 2 year old long haired beauty that would just love a great home of his own. Lex definitely had a home since he was found with a collar on, but when no one ever came looking for him, he decided to put his past behind him and start his search again for a new home. Lex was a little shaken up when he arrived but once he settled in, he began making friends immediately and is now loving life. Lex is just an all around awesome guy. He has a great personality and is very outgoing and vocal. He has a little bit of a tough-guy persona so when he's had enough of the mushing, he'll let you know. A home with no young children would be best. Lex would be able to co-exist with another cat that would not cause him any grief but he is a little dominant with other cats. He's a fun-loving and silly boy that will play with toys, mush against you for attention, and just love you forever if you give him the great home he's waiting for. File#26868 11/30/16

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lex, a Forked River Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Forked River, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Forked River.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Forked River already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Forked River breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Forked River paves the way for another one to be saved.
