Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Wilma is a very beautiful, gentle and snugly, golden-eyed, ten-month-old, female glossy Tortoiseshell cat looking for a loving guardian.
Wilma showed up at a food bank on Chicago’s south side during their annual Christmas party. Lucky for her there was plenty of food to go around! She enjoyed two cans of tuna and a lot of catfish before a cat-lover scooped her up and brought her home as her foster.
She had no tags, wasn’t micro-chipped and her original owners could not be found.
So, she was spayed last week and is now looking for a loving home of her own – a home where someone will keep her inside their home and warm.
Wilma is obviously someone’s escaped house cat as she is sweet, friendly and loves to snuggle and purr on the couch for hours. She uses her litter box like a good girl. She lets you pick her up in your arms, pet her belly, and she just melts into your arms and purrs.
She is now healthy, spayed, up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines, virus-tested negative and micro-chipped.
To meet and possibly adopt Wilma, please contact her rescuer Connie at conbnk@aol.com or 312-841-6068. Her adoption fee of $100 benefits rescued cats. She is currently living in Chicago’s Humboldt Park neighborhood.
