Eva's Story...
Meet one of the Gabor sisters -- two sisters were running loose in the road. We are thinking maybe they were getting too big for whoever had them and were abandoned to fend for themselves. This baby is 3 1/2 months old and BIG at 26 lbs. Breed mix guess is Lab mixed with Chesepeake Bay Retriever, German Shepherd, Great Pyrenees -- or anything else you can think of that is big. They could be Lab/Great Pyr, Lab/German Shepherd, Lab/Chessie, Lab/Shetland Pony ??? Your guess is as good as ours.
Both sisters are very sweet girls and love people, very laid back and would love to have a forever home before we can't lift them
If you are interested in giving this sweet baby a home, please visit our website http://jojosdoghouse.com and download an application or email us at jojosdogrescue @gmail.com and we will send you one. Adoption fee is $250 and includes age-appropriate vaccinations and parasite treatment and prevention. Thanks for choosing adoption!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eva, a Gallatin Labrador Retriever/Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Chesapeake Bay Retriever for sale in Gallatin, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Chesapeake Bay Retriever puppy from a breeder in Gallatin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gallatin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gallatin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Chesapeake Bay Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Chesapeake Bay Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gallatin paves the way for another one to be saved.
