Louisa's Story...
Louisa is a 1 year old, domestic short haired, tortoise shell kitty. Louisa and her 3, young kittens were found abandoned in a box on a very hot day in September. The small family was terribly hungry and thirsty, but they all greeted their rescuers with happy and grateful purrs. Louisa has been the perfect mama to her three kittens. She snuggles with them, teaches them manners and shows them how to bathe! Louisa loves to cuddle. She is happiest in bed with her human companion where she can purr the night away and make biscuits on a fluffy blanket. Louisa is all about attention, and she knows how to get it; she’s very outgoing. She never meets a stranger. Louisa even gets along well with calm dogs! Louisa would be happy in any loving home! She enjoys the company of other cats and people - including kids! Louisa is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped! If you’re interested in making Louisa your newest companion, please fill out an adoption application today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louisa, a Baytown Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Baytown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Baytown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Baytown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Baytown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Baytown paves the way for another one to be saved.
