Smiley has short legs and a stalky build. Smiley lives up to her name; she is always smiling. Her coat color is truly unique. It has the appearance of black but she has lots of chocolate swirls. She has big, pleading eyes and a short snout. Her belly is so soft and her chest is white with a mixture of spots. She loves belly rubs. She is low energy and prefers naps on the couch rather than games of fetch. She likes having dog friends and human friends. She is crate trained and house trained. We think she may have been abused by a male in her past. Children under 10 may scare her or make her nervous due her possible history of being physically abused. She has never bitten any of us and NEVER shown any signs of aggression. She may initially be skittish with children. She is a quick learner and has learned lots of social skills since she was released from 4 months of shelter living and placed in foster care. She is a lap dog and very submissive. She loves to gives kisses and she is eager to please her humans.
