About North Central Volunteers

About Our Rescue Group...

North Central Shelter Volunteers is an independent rescue group committed to helping shelter dogs find loving homes by advertising, networking, educating, and facilitating adoptions. We focus on the dogs at the North Central Shelter in Los Angeles, especially those who are red-listed and in danger of euthansia.

We are not a shelter in an of ourselves and we are not officially connected to the North Central Shelter. All the dogs we promote are housed by the North Central Shelter and deicisions regarding these dogs are made at their discretion.

All dogs/cats listed are at the North Central Shelter unless noted otherwise.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our volunteers are available to meet with you at the North Central Shelter and introduce you to the dogs there. We work to be as flexible as possible and will try to bend to fit your schedule. The shelter hours are Tues-Sat: 8am-5pm; Sun: 11am-5pm.
The North Central Shelter is at 3201 Lacy St, LA, CA, 90031
