Rocco's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Rocco's Story...
Rocco is so sad, he was given up by his owner of the last 6 years due to foreclosure. He is a sweet dog that is good with other dogs and children. The previous owner told us what breed he is and he had Rocco since he was a puppy. It would be so nice if whomever adopts this dog is willing to let the prior owner know that he got a great home so they can stop crying over him. He is housebroken, vaccinated and neutered. He is just a big baby! Watch his video, it will show you all the dogs we have available at the Trumbull Animal Shelter, 324 Church Hill Road, Trumbull (203) 452-5088. You can also call the shelter directly on Rocco.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocco, a BRIDGEPORT American Bulldog/Greater Swiss Mountain Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/Greater Swiss Mountain Dog for sale in BRIDGEPORT, or seeking a American Bulldog/Greater Swiss Mountain Dog dog from a breeder in BRIDGEPORT.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in BRIDGEPORT already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a BRIDGEPORT breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/Greater Swiss Mountain Dog breeders who help with American Bulldog/Greater Swiss Mountain Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in BRIDGEPORT paves the way for another one to be saved.
