Rusty's Story...
Rusty is available for adoption! Rusty is approximately a year and half old. He is neutered, microchipped, and received his Rabies, Bordetella, and first DHPP vaccines. Rusty was found by a Good Samaritan and brought into our veterinarian’s office to be scanned for a microchip. A microchip and former owners were found, however they never came to get Rusty. The owners asked the veterinarian hospital to hold on to Rusty for an hour, but day after day, they never came for him and they would not answer calls. Rather than allowing Rusty go to the county shelter, we offered assistance. We are loving getting to the happy boy that Rusty is! Rusty is fun guy and loves hanging out in the yard. He does well in a kennel or free roaming the house. Rusty does great with all people, including children, and is very friendly with other dogs!

If you’re interested in meeting Rusty, please email for more information and an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rusty, a Tempe Boxer/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Beagle for sale in Tempe, or seeking a Boxer/Beagle dog from a breeder in Tempe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tempe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tempe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Beagle breeders who help with Boxer/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tempe paves the way for another one to be saved.
