Hello world, my name is Manny. I was found as a stray and taken to the dog pound. I was ever so frightened there and tried to bite everyone. I was not treated well in my life and had learned to protect myself. Can you imagine someone being mean to me, when I am not much bigger than their hand!?Along came my wonderful foster mom that understood I was frightened. She rescued me out of all that turmoil, only to find what a sweet boy I am. She knows to talk with me instead of lifting her hand. That makes me defensive. I am quite a character. I am picky on who I fall in love with , so you have to be someone pretty special for me to approve of. If I love you, I will worship you and shower you with kisses. I will be loyally at your side.If I am afraid of you I will snap at you. I am looking for a quiet adult home, with only 1 or 2 people. I will not be good for a home with a lot of people coming or going. I am around 6 years old and weigh around 10 pounds. I do get along with other dogs, but like to be the dominant dog in the home.I love the freedom of running in the yard and will need a fence.I am good with being the only dog.I am house and crate trained. My bags are packed and ready to meet my forever person!! Love Manny
