Facts about Audrey

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Calico Or Dilute Calico
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Audrey came to us after her owner died. She is a dilute calico and is front-paw declawed. She did not do well in the shelter and is afraid of other cats and dogs. She would do best if she is the only animal. However, she loves to sit in your lap and head bump you. She just cries for someone to pay attention to her. It may take her a week or so to find her way around your house, but by then, she will have wormed her way into your heart. She is truly a wonderful companion and is very affectionate.  If you are interested in visiting Audrey, tell the shelter staff that she is at Renee’s.

All Pets & People cats and kittens - $85.00. This includes microchip, vaccinations, worming, feleuk check, and spay/neuter.

About Pets & People Humane Society

About Our Rescue Group...

Pets & People is a volunteer based organization that concentrates on rescuing dogs and cats from area municipal shelter"s "death row". All of these pets are tested for certain diseases, vaccinated, wormed, spayed/neutered, given preventative medication and sheltered until forever homes can be found. We primarily rescue from rural shelters in central Oklahoma but have been know to travel hours to rescue pets.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our shelter is open to the public from noon to 5:30, seven days a week. We are open on major holidays by appointment only. The address of our shelter is 701 Inla Ave, Yukon, Oklahoma.

Our Adoption Process...

Potential adopters will be required to fill out an initial questionnaire and to answer follow up questions. Veterinary references will be checked as well as home checks as necessary. We do not transport our pets to adopters. We like to have our adopters meet our pets and for us to meet them and their families. Our goal it to match our pets with appropriate homes.
