My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet little Star is solid gray with one spot of white on her chest - while we like to think that there may be a bit of Russian Blue in her, there's absolutely nothing to back that up (other than her occasional princess attitude). Star's first reaction to being in a new home is to be shy and hide. But then she remembers that she's hungry, and people can give her food. Then she remembers that she adores attention, and that people can give her snuggles and scritches. So she doesn't hide for very long. When Star is picked up and held she purrs up a storm, and she adores ear scritches. She follows her foster mom around the house, sits on the couch next to her, and has naturally staked out a choice spot on the bed. Star is terrified of dogs, and is generally unhappy around young children, but if you give her a cat playmate she is ecstatic. She is an energetic, playful girl, and requests that her new home provide her with a cardboard cat lounger and lots of food. Star is very food motivated, so you may need to learn discretion when feeding her; as it's entirely likely she will tell you all sorts of kitty lies about how she's in imminent danger of starving when there's still half a bowl of food to be eaten.
