Jackie is a cattle dog mix that is estimated to be a little over a year old. Jackie was found as a stray in Texas and was living on the streets for a majority of her life without any human contact until she was rescued.
When Jackie arrived at her foster home she was very scared and timid due to never being in a home environment before. Jackie has been adjusting well but will take someone patient and loving to show her how great a home can be. She loves other dogs that are playful and would be best going into a home with a dog to show her the way and be a playful companion for her. Her foster dog brother has been showing her the ropes and helping her to gain some confidence.  She will also need a home with a fenced in yard to ensure she is safe and secure. Jackie is crate trained and is now fully house trained. She will take time to learn to trust her humans but seems to warm up to dogs right away. Jackie is such an amazingly sweet girl, and once she does trust you - it is a wonderful feeling and true bond.  She just needs some time to get there.  We love sweet Jackie and we know there is the right person/family out there for her.  If you are interested in giving Jackie a loving home please apply!
