Additional info: Nestle is very sweet and playful. He may try his mad escape skills when first introduced to a new home. This usually only lasts for a day or two. He is very obedient but may react when he sees dogs on his walks as he has some leash aggression, although it the aggression is decreasing with time. He needs an experienced owner who will know not to try to touch him when he is going at a cat or dog on the leash as he may try to bite them. He does stop, however, when told NO. We've noticed that he tends to get tense when coming up on a blind corner. An experienced owner will read his body language and help him de escalate the tension. He's quiet outside, behaves well inside, doesn't get in any fights and plays tug of war without being too aggressive. He grumbles like an old man in the form of little growls and barks when he's really excited, but now that we know him well we can tell that this is just part of his personality and not aggression. Anyone who takes the time to get to know him will easily be able to tell the difference. He needs someone who is firm and forceful when necessary, no one timid. The more exercise he gets, the calmer he is and this will be the secret to balancing him out. He is not suitable for a home with either cats or young kids. Otherwise, he is a very affectionate little guy who loves his person and loves to be held. He likes toys and loves playing. He has a silly, curious, happy and independent character and he can be a real joy to be around. He likes to stand with his little head in between your legs! He bonds easily and just wants his very own experienced owner who will love him forever.
