2-19-2917 Update:Roxanne has successfully completed heart worm treatment. She is a petite boxer mix, weighing in at just 48 lbs. Roxanne’s pics don’t do her justice. Everyone meeting her in person, can’t get over how beautiful she is! Roxanne is fabulous with other dogs! The more, the merrier is her motto! She thoroughly enjoys the dog park! Roxanne is also fabulous with children! Though Roxanne needs some leash training, she certainly does enjoy walking/ jogging/running. She would be a great jogging and running companion!
Roxanne’s outlook on life is: “Don’t worry, Be happy”….& happy she is! If you’re not a runner or jogger, than we would like Roxanne’s potential home to have a physical fence. You can then play with her in the yard where she can run off some energy. After a play date, Roxanne will snuggle with you to watch some TV. She is truly a fantastic dog! If you are unable to adopt at this time, perhaps you would like to foster Roxanne. Though she is lin a loving foster home now, the situation is not the best match for her as her foster home is an apartment with no fence, limiting her exercise. Her foster mom works and also has a senior boxer of her own to leash walk as well as Roxanne. Roxanne is 2 1/2 yrs old, potty trained, current on vaccines, is a great listener and will go in the crate when told to. Once in, she will whine for 15 minutes to let you know she’d rather not be in there, but will then stop whining and lay down….she just has to have the last word! LOL! Love this little beauty! -----------------------------Please meet Roxanne. She is a two year old boxer mix. She is on the petite side weighing in at 48 lbs. She is good with other dogs. Roxanne will be ready for adoption in late February as she is positive for heart worm and will be treated by Fassa's Friends Boxer Rescue. She is very sweet and very playful and energetic. She had been at the shelter for 2 months and while there, the shelter employees were teaching her some manners. Roxanne will continue to learn more manners as she goes through heartworom treatment.AS we learn more about Roxanne, ie; potty trained, etc. we will update this post.
