Lilly's Story...
Emma and her sister Lilly were surrendered to our rescue after someone saw them being given away on a trade site on Facebook. These little ones are very sweet and adorable! Emma is more outgoing and Lilly is a little more reserved but both love to play and be with people. They both get along fine with other dogs also. These two are about 11 weeks old, weigh about 5 pounds and are working on housebreaking. These pups are being fostered in West TN and will be transported once their adoption is finalized. If you'd like to add one of these beauties to your family please visit our website at www.goofyfootrescue.org and fill out an online application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Southington Pug/Beagle puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Beagle for sale in Southington, or seeking a Pug/Beagle puppy from a breeder in Southington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Beagle breeders who help with Pug/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southington paves the way for another one to be saved.
